TUCer team achieves its best rank in Shell Eco Marathon 2012
Shell Eco Marathon, Rotterdam, 14-19 May 2012: TUCer Team achieved its best performance
TUC Eco Racing team competed for the fifth time at the European Shell Eco Marathon, at Rotterdam, on May 14-19, 2012. Since last year, TUCer team designed and constructed its new vehicle, ER12. In comparison to the previous team vehicle, ER12 has improved aerodynamic design and reduced weight. The team won the fourth place of the Urban Vehicles - Hydrogen category.
The Urban Concept category was introduced in 2003 and is designed specifically for vehicles that are similar to normal cars and more conventional in design than the experimental prototypes in the traditional Shell Eco-marathon competition.
