First Prize at the Shell Eco Marathon 2011 for the second consecutive year
24-28 May 2011: For second contiguous time ADAC awards TUCer Team with the first prize at the Safety Award of the Shell Eco Marathon
For the fourth time IS&RL participated with TUCer team at the UrbanConcept category of the 2011 European Shell Eco-marathon competition that takes place at the EUROSPEEDWAY, Lausitz, Germany. The Urban Concept category was introduced in 2003 and is designed specifically for vehicles that are similar to normal cars and more conventional in design than the experimental prototypes in the traditional Shell Eco-marathon competition.
At the 2011 marathon, TUCer Team won the 1st Prize of the ADAC Safety Award and achieved its best performance by running 44km / 1KWh.
